Sunoco
January 2007 - May 2007, June 2007 - Present

I am the full-time Assistant Manager for the Atkinson NH Sunoco A-Plus fuel station and convenience store. My responsibilities are diverse and include supervisory, store audits, payroll, bank deposits, balancing cashier paperwork, entering daily sales reports, cash handling, cashiering, clerical, sales, customer service, ordering (McLane), store maintenance, receiving, stocking, and closing procedures. I have effectively run the store in the absence of the facility manager on several occasions. 

King Printing
April 2007 - June 2007

I was a full time shipping and receiving lead person for this printing company. I was responsible for obtaining rate quotes and setting up shipments with local trucking and shipping companies such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, NEMF, Freight Management, New Penn, and more. Along with setting up shipments, I also filled out all necessary documentation as required.

I was also responsible for receiving incoming shipments and updating PO's in the computer system, along with other general shipping and receiving functions such as loading and unloading freight and delivering incoming packages to the correct personnel. 

Furniture World Distribution Center
September 2000 – December 2006

I was the Team Leader of the returns area, but they ended up going out of business. My duties included running the returns area, directing and motivating staff, and assisting co-workers with inventory issues as needed. 

I filled in as acting supervisor on several occasions. I served Furniture World for six years and have filled other roles such as inventory controller and parts representative as well, dealing directly with factories for the acquisition of replacement parts under warranty. I was certified to operate Crown lift trucks and used these machines to move product and conduct inventory operations.

I was well versed on the GERS system that we used, which utilized a real-time RF inventory system. 

Shaw’s Distribution Center
May 2000 – September 2000

I was a full-time load selector for Shaw’s Perishable Goods Distribution Center.

Daddy’s Junky Music
April 1996 – May 2000 

I filled many roles at Daddy’s Junk Music including general warehouse, general office, quality control, shipping & receiving, and customer service. I assisted my manager in running our mail order division and I also set up operations and ran their online auction division, for which I received their company wide “employee of the month” award.  

Barnes & Noble
August 1994 – April 1996 

I was the full time shipper/receiver for this retail bookstore. I was part of the original crew that set up and opened this store. I also filled in on the sales floor and cash registers as needed.

Education

I graduated from Salem High School in 1989. I received my Career Diplomas from Stratford Career Institute in May 2005 for the study of Private Investigations, and in February 2007 for Desktop Publishing and Design. I utilize these skills in both my personal and professional endeavors.

I was involved with this historical website, performing writing, research, and photography. I produced two articles there as well as numerous photographs. That domain has since expired, unfortunately, though some of my work will be preserved on this website.
